Raw, 100% pure honey naturally crystallizes over time, especially in larger containers like buckets, drums, and totes. This doesn’t mean it’s old or spoiled. It’s actually a sign that the honey hasn’t been overheated, diluted, or over-processed.

For just 2 to 3 weeks each spring, Mexico’s Citrus sinensis groves become a snow-white haze of fragrant petals. Bees foraging solely on this nectar create an Extra White honey, almost water-clear, with only the faintest straw tint. Chefs and formulators prize this grade when recipes demand absolute transparency and a whisper-light citrus profile.

This 220-gallon heated IBC tote includes an integrated heating pad designed to help keep honey liquid, improve flow and reduce crystallization during storage and production. It is ideal for operations that require consistent pumpability, easier dispensing and smoother handling in high-volume environments.

Delicate citrus-floral flavor & silky crystallization

Aroma opens with fresh orange blossom and honeysuckle, finished by a hint of green citrus peel. Flavor delivers gentle floral sweetness, then a clean, crystalline exit with no bitterness and no lingering weight.

Thanks to its balanced sugar ratio, the honey stays pourable for weeks. When raw crystallization sets in, it forms fine, silky granules that spread effortlessly. The included heating pad helps maintain gentle warmth when needed, supporting a flawless pour and reducing crystallization during storage, transfer and production.

Pure, Raw & Unfiltered integrity

Hives sit within 3 km of dense orange groves. Frames are hand-uncapped, spun at ambient temperature and only coarse-strained. The honey is never pasteurized and never ultra-filtered. Forty-eight hours of gravity settling lift bubbles while preserving pollen, enzymes and delicate citrus volatiles.

2,755-lb Heated IBC Tote advantages

Large-format efficiency: One reusable, food-grade 220-gallon IBC tote holds approximately 1,250 kg of honey, reducing the need for multiple smaller containers and improving production efficiency.

Heating pad included: Helps keep honey liquid, supports steady flow and reduces downtime caused by crystallization or thickening during storage.

High-volume flow: Bottom discharge valve connects easily to sanitary hoses for rapid, pump-fed production into tanks, filling systems or production lines.

Pallet-smart logistics: Built for warehouse, dock and production-floor handling, with a compact footprint that supports efficient storage and forklift movement.

Scarcity hedge: Filling one tote requires a significant amount of limited seasonal harvest. Reserving now helps secure year-round supply before the next annual bloom cycle.

A Natural Process: Honey Crystallization

Raw, 100% pure honey naturally crystallizes over time, especially in larger containers like buckets, drums, and totes. This doesn’t mean it’s old or spoiled. It’s actually a sign that the honey hasn’t been overheated, diluted, or over-processed.

  • Crystallization happens when natural sugars in real honey form tiny crystals.

  • Texture may become thick, grainy, or semi-solid, but flavor and quality remain the same.

  • Enzymes, aroma, and beneficial nutrients stay intact because the honey is still raw.

To make crystallized honey liquid again, gently warm the closed container or the portion you need in a warm water bath and stir until smooth. Avoid boiling, direct flame, or high-heat microwaving, as excessive heat can damage the honey’s natural properties.
